Until this year, all I had was a .410, but I managed to down a few doves with it. Over the summer I picked up a 16 gauge and I'm really looking forward to this year's hunt. I don't know what it is with me and odd calibers, though.

I used to use a pump 20, but now I use a semi auto 12. Does that mean I'm getting lazy?

Beretta 390 12 ga with remington heavy dove and an improved cylinder hasn't let me down yet. Been contemplating a 20 but the beretta a pretty soft recoiling 12 one of the docs I work with let me shoot his 20 O/U if I ever buy one of those it'll be a 20 for sure.
