Let's talk cheeseburgers. I like them, especially when my home grown tomatoes are in. I like onions on all my burgers. I use mayo with tomatoes, but mustard with pickles, and onions only. I like the deli sliced American cheese. I'm not fond of the Kraft singles. It's a quarter pounder for me. I've used the 85/15 made up burgers, but prefer the 80/20 ones. I do mine on a hot gas grill and turn off the burner soon after I flip the burger and add cheese. How do you like your burgers at home?

I never buy burgers at fast foods anymore except for the exceptions, because I like to make them at home. I generally order one of the crispy chicken sandwiches at the fast food joints.

Deli Sliced cheese is a must for Cheeseburgers.
But Lately I have been skipping on cheese. After all these years eating Cheese Burgers I found that I prefer no cheese..

I'm still on the hunt for the perfect bun.
Mrs. Barids hamburger Buns don't cut it.

What do you use for Buns Bill?

I tend to buy the grocery store Bakery buns.

Don't cook much with beef.

Our burger meat is 1/2 deer 1/2 pork, some of the fatter ferals and the rest boston buts.

I like more than a 1/4 lb patty, probably a 1/2 or more. Cheese is great, not a stickler on what kind. I like to season them with lipton soup mix sometimes. Past that home grown maters are great and I like my burgers all the way, mayo mustard ketchup pickles lettuce tomatoes and onion.

Hubby makes them with 80/20 hamburger meat, diced onions, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. He makes the patties and puts a thumb dent in the middle to hold the juices as it cooks. Throws on a hot charcoal grill. We use Mrs. Bairds buns with seeds and toast them. Gotta have Velveeta sliced cheese.
I add lettuce, tomatoe, fresh onion slice, mayo on the top bun, and ketchup on the bottom bun.
As a side dish we like the frozen "Griller Potatoes"

When using beef, I like the 80/20 also & I make mine big. I add minced garlic, diced onions, Worchestershire, black pepper, & a little Slap Ya Mamma's. Hot charcoal grill, hit the grate with onion/olive oil/garlic powder & throw em' on. I melt on two slices of pepperjack cheese, toast the buns & add mustard, lettuce, tomato, & a couple jalapeno's on the side. food

for a healthier option you can use lean beef or ground venison. Add some finely diced onion inside the patty, some oatmeal, and couple egg whites to hold it together.

I like roasted peppers and cheese on top.

Last weekend I cooked up some 1/2 axis and 1/2 pork. Poured some heinz 57 and A1 and sprinkled on a little Tony C's before forming the patties. Stuffed the middle with shredded cheddar and pickled jalepenos. Then about 5 minutes before they were done I spread some Sweet Baby Rays bbq sauce over the patties. That way you get a little sweet from the bbq sauce and a little heat from the jalepenos in every bite. They were the best burgers I've ever cooked! Yummy!

That's my $.02. Here's you're change!!

My Wife buys the blue cheese hatch chili patties at Central market. Any good patty with blue cheese and chili peppers is my favorite. I think Sprouts may have something similar.
