i used to use mini maglights,
but the bulbs got so cheesy and
undependable i just go buy several
of those 1.50 harbor freight led
lights with the batteries ready to
go and use them as semi-disposable lights.
i've had some other good flashlights,
but if the batteries aren't common enough
to be had at a small town gas station
or hardware store, it's not for me.
AA or AAA only in my small lights now.

Streamlight Stinger LED

Sreamlight also makes a couple of nice small lights. One takes a single AAA and the other takes 2 AAA

I will not buy a light that takes those CR123 batteries.

Fenix lights work really well and can be had in AA or AAA.

I have one of these too, it's a nice little light for the price and it runs off of 1 AA battery

I have Surefire LX2 and Streamlight Scorpion. I used to love mags, but they aren't what they used to be.

I currently have Surefire and Streamlight and just recently purchased a Fenix that runs on AA batteries. I really like it so far. Not sure if it is as bright as the others, but really like the AA battery better than the other type.

GSX 350 Lumen. I think you can find them at Gander. I use mine early in the mornings when I go duck hunting! Been a very reliable light for me!

I have three stringers now one for house and one for each truck. I mounted mine in my truck.

Streamlight ProTac 2L. Small, uses size 123 batteries and is plenty bright at 180 lumens.

Streamlight strion for me. Been carrying one for about a year at work. I' ve dropped it plenty on concrete and still works great. You can get a pretty good use out of a single charge. Im sure there are better but this one works good enough for me.
