Shows how well it was taken care of and not over harvested. If you do the same it will continue to look like that. That is my plan. Feed protein/corn and only harvest the big mature bucks and the older does. Only my wife and I are hunting it so I figure 3 to 4 deer a year to feed us is enough.

Let us know what you kill. Come on MrRoachie.  All landowners have neighbors. Good thing is mine haven't started feeding yet. Big advantage for me feeding corn, protein and alfalfa. Getting the deer on a schedule and hope they stick to it. So far they have. I am positive and will let you know what I harvest. Be positive with me brother.

It is so enjoyable to see my camera pics. Sat in the stand last Saturday morning and watched all of the deer feeding. Had a 6 point and a doe walk right past my stand headed to the feeder at 30 feet like there wasn't anything there. FYI for those who asked it is Lampasas county and the ranch to the west is about 40 acres and the one to the east is about the same. My land has a creek bed and a big dropoff to the north of the feeder in the pictures.

May have to have another talk with the neighbor. That buck is so damn purty. May have to rattle the neighbors horns. Will wait until after Hamilton Electric get's access to his property to set my power poles though.  That just ain't right is it?
