Thursday was my 4th daughter, Jayden’s birthday. She wanted to have pizza and go hunting. The rest of us had Pork fajitas. About 11pm we headed out to look for some hogs. We spotted a single boar out in a coastal field. We put the stalk on him and Jayden dropped him with a head shot. We moved to the next field and there was a group of hogs mixed in with some steers. We eased through the herd and they moved away leaving the hogs to be shot. Jayden dropped another one. Now Talon wanted to shoot one. We didn’t even make it to the next field before spotting another group. We passed up a group of small hogs for a shot at this big ol gal. Talon made a good shot; she ran about 40 yards and dropped.
