Welcome!

The 'friendly' thing doesn't count on any metroplex freeway- there are only a--h---- there.

Ohh, and we're allowed to use 'Rifles' for deer hunting here!!!

Welcome to the forum and Ohio is a great place to be from. I have traveled there on business or pleasure many times.

I'm a native Texan and lived in the Dallas area for nearly 15 years (left two years ago) ... most new comers to DFW are surprised by two things:
1. How many people in the DFW area are not originally from Texas.
2. Keeping up with the Jone's is more prevalent there than in the northeast or west coat. Your house, car, and address will be judged as a reflection of who you are. And yes, I made six figures a year.

When you can, get outside that loop and experience the true greatness of texas

Yes I plan on moving into the country eventually thats for darn sure! Never lived in a big city in my life so I am excited for that change for a bit. That dirt road back in Ohio will feel great come November.

2. Rifles.....I knew you all were aloud to use them. I never have hunted with one because in Ohio we only get one gun season for a week. Its shotgun only! I mostly hunt with my Mathews! Boy do I love to bow hunt!

3. You all have hogs!! I would love to kill one, never even seen on in the wild before.

Welcome to Texas and to the forum.

I am not a native Texan as I moved from North Carolina when I was still in elementary school but I have been here long enough I consider myself a Texan.

Ya I am so new to leases and all. In Ohio public ground aint bad hunting, and I always had my families farm. Plus so many other farms to hunt I coudlnt hunt them all.

Last year I did lease up 450 acres with a few buddies, and it cost 700 bucks a piece haha. I was looking online, and itll cost damn near half a persons income to lease land in Texas hahah. Idk if Ill get to hunt haha
