This is my Lucy. She is little over 7yo and was a bar ditch find for my sister when she was at most 3mo. Sister realized 6 was to many dogs and about to take her to the pound. I took her home instead.
She is highly intelegent...very protective...and kills every critter that gets in the yard. Also she LOVES the water.

She has been one of the best dogs I've known. I just can't figure out what she may be mixed with. I have been truely blessed with herunconditional Love.

She is 55lbs and solid as rock. Some say she is part pit but idk.

I was thinking heeler too because of her coloring. She used to have much more light grey but has mostly turned dark or black

I'd be willing to bet she's part Catahoula, and maybe pit.

I'm thinking blue heeler lab mix as well. You can get a doggy DNA test if you're really that set on finding out.

I don't plan to do a DNA on her as I'm not that worried about it....just curious what others thought she may be.

Still love the tennis ball pic. Perfect timing with the catch and the snap of the camera up

That's my favorite. It took several times to get a good pic.

Another thing about my Lucy. She won't hardly play rough and if she does start to horse play, she won't touch me with her teeth on purpose. She will however drag you all over playing tug of war and fetch the ball till she can't run anymore. Her favorite is catching the frisbee

I think 8 point hit it. Catahoula or a mix. "Houlas" are great I have had several!

I see Catahoula/Pit in her.

Would expect that cross to be an awesome friend.

Great puppy dog you have there. My vote is Heeler/Pit mix. She kinda has the bently mark on top of her head which is a Heeler trait.
