 my first FOX. GRAPHIC!!!!

Was at the lease at night out walking around trying to see what I could stir up. I started up the tank dam and I see this guy at about 45 yds. I was using my 6.8 AR with SSA 110gr Accubond. The second pic shows his heart in the exit carnage.

I didn't even have to call em in. He was still at the pond less than 5min after I missed a bobcat that was leaving the pond.

I've shot a lot of fox with the 6.8 and it usually looks worse ! U mounting him? Or maybe wait for a winter fox ?

Ill wait for a winter to have the hide tanned. I personally don't care to have mounts....other than euros.

I saw a fox jumping through the grass at the lease this weekend through a thermal imager...never could get a shot though as he was well hidden from the digiNV scope. The thermal cut through the weeds enough for me to see the big bushy tail and slender body, but when I drew up on him all I saw was weeds, nothing else. I was hoping to get the fox. Glad you did! nice job!
