Just got off the phone with the landowner where I pheasant hunt. They took an epic hail storm this week. He said there may not be a ground bird alive for miles. Told me the song birds roosting in the trees around the the house were laying in the yard dead,most of the leaves gone,cotton bowls knocked of the stalks, milo beat to the ground,and just bad all over! Hale County got the hail knocked out of it! They had a fair amount of birds till this. bang bang bang

Wow, I hope it stayed north of Floydada. Pheasants were terrible the last two years, but the quail were showing signs of a comeback.
