year 4, 2nd year of III... Surveyed last weekend and saw the two biggest deer on the place I have ever seen. we have some guys clearing cedar so I think in about a week and a half our numbers will REALLY be up. We got rid of the cows this year and are just farming... I'm excited, I have a cousin who is an outfitter on the red river and said that when he moved cows off it was night and day on what deer he saw. I'm excited. Cameras just went out this weekend hopefully i'll have pics in about 2 weeks.
what year did yall really start to see improvement? I think this year could be the one for us. I know the shock survey of our lake looked good last weekend so maybe i'm just hopefull lol

There wasn't a magical moment. I will share that it was gradual, with the past couple of years really showing the most improvement? It takes the patience of alot of paying members going through season after season without putting antlers on the wall. One of our guys will be entering his 6th consecutive year without taking a buck. We're happy for him, because finally THIS YEAR his camera providing pics of an EXCEPTIONAL mainframe 10 that we hope finds a place on his wall at home. If you're an avid hunter, shooters are easily defined on a moment's notice. I've passed on deer after deer, year after year, and have seen shooter 8's, and 12's I'd never shoot at. I think personal maturity ties directly into hunting maturity. Peace.

Nav, I like the fourth picture of you smiling with that big Buck.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
