I don't understand why more people don't use Purina. They have the biggest research center in the world.

Purina has had their share of recalls too. A large research center doesn't necessarily equate to high quality control standards.

At the end of the day you need to find out what works for your dog: - My pup started on Puppy Pro Plan mixed with adult Blue Buffalo - seemed to work ok but I didn't like how high the fat content of BB was - Moved him to Taste Of The Wild and his poop became very runny (I was really hoping to use TOTW but it wasn't in the cards) - I moved him back to PPP with a mix of Orijen and he is doing great!
Dog Food Advisor Rating: - PPP 2.5 star - TOTW 5 star (for the kind I was using) - Orijen 5 star
Like I said, my pup has done better with the PPP than the 5 star TOTW. It's important to see what works for your individual pup.

In less than 10 minutes I found several Nestlé Purina dog food & treat recalls.

I work in the food and beverage industry. Trust me... If you only buy from companies who have never recalled product your going to starve to death.
Again - base you feed choice on what works best for your pup. For me it looks like Origen and PPP. My second dog seems to do really well with the Kirkland's brand.
