I'm guessing that cat bit off more than he could chew. Pretty hard to get a hold of the throat on a hog without getting torn up. My money is on the cat every time. I've seen 60lb dogs catch and hold pigs that size by themselves without getting a scratch on em.

Awful handy for 7 of the 8 feet in that photo to be off the ground at the same time. Just sayin'.....

I know I'm a doubter but it doesn't look right. That shadow under the tail bothers me for some reason in this pic. doubter or not the tail shadow perfectly in-line with the full lenght of the tail should bother you ... as well as the "white" light (not IR) source that leaves no shadow on the ground/plants behind them even though the hog and cat are at two different angles to this source.

This picture has been floating around since 2009. This lion and hog have apparently chased each other throughtout Texas. Hogs seems to still be aluding cature.

Well, nothing in the e-mail I received mentioned when the picture was taken; I assumed it was recent since the old gentleman that sent it referenced the game cam pics I sent him. It might be that the location and picture did originate from the same source but it's indeed old news.

Funny thing when people start removing the data stamp and the images are reported from a friend or neighbor with a vague location. It usually isn't personal data that is being hidden.
