I just left the Academy by my work and their Winchester 20 ga 7/8 and 1 oz shot says $5.50 on the shelf, but they are both ringing up $6.99.

Maybe they are going to raise the price right before the season instead of lowering it like usual.

All Winchester AA's have a $2 per box rebate (minimum of 10 boxes) doesn't mater where you get them. Best deal out there. Light or heavy loads

Well Stink...Buzz said they were $5.50 after the $2 rebate so if my math is right that would make them 7.50. I'm assuming he left out tax which would make it about 8.12 less 2 and really 6.12/box after rebate.

I guess I got in on the conversation late and didn't go back to page 1. Thanks

around 7.50 - 8.00.

Academy's deal on Rios is the best I could find right now. $54.90. They had Estate for the same money.

Rockwall Wal Mart had the heavy loads. WIinchester and Federal 1-1/8 oz.. It was $20 + change for 100.

I went by Dick's today and bought 8 boxes of Remington #8 1oz 20ga. for $25/4 boxes.

A strange thing at checkout was they made me poke an answer on the machine that I was a US Citizen or legal immigrant and I had to verbally give the cashier my DOB.

WTF is that? I haven't been questioned on ammo purchases in Texas since the 70's. It has to be a Dick's policy.

No, no they haven't. You just have to go to the dumb looking cashiers. My cousin recently bought a case and paid box price. I just can't do it though. I always tell them of their mistake.

The girl checking me out at Dick's got a funny look on her face when I questioned sales tax on shotgun shells. I said "that's groceries, they aren't taxable".
