Decided to hit the range today with my new beretta nano, the pistol performed great with different types of ammo 115gr, 124gr and 147 gr jhp it seemed to like the 124gr and up. Bu I started to notice my groups were dropping immediately I thought it was me so I took a break and grabbed some more targets. I started to shoot again and then it happened after my third round I thought my eye sight was blurry I checked my sights and my front sight was gone after 251 rounds!!!!! I asked the range master if the range went cold could I search for it but they rarely stop the pistol range, we looked all around but it was like searching for a needle in a hay stack with all of that brass. bang

I will be contacting beretta on Monday I will keep you guys posted on what they say I just bought the damn thing on the 26th.

You can see my last 3 shots hitting the 7th and 8th ring.

I picked up a 40cal px4 midsize. Thing shoots great.

I was thinking about getting a nano, but I think I'll wait unit they work the bugs out.

Wow that is a good way to ruin a range day. Hopefully Beretta will take care of you.

That's exactly what I did the earlier models had some ejecting and feeding issues so I waited a while. This model ran flawlessly until the damn sight fell off lol, again will see what they say on Monday.

How'd you get that many rounds fire after the front sight fell off, since you're spozed to focus on the front sight anyway. peep

I had a customer last week with the same problem on his nano. With less than 100 rounds through it, the front sight fell off. I thought for sure he dropped it... until I saw your post!

I had to put some loctite on my Ruger MKII Target because the screw would back off after a few hundred rounds.

If you would hold it sideways like a real gangsta, you wouldn't need a front sight.

I usually do that with a new weapon but for some stupid reason I didn't with this one, lesson learned I guess.

If you was holding the target I probably would have!

If I was holding the target, you would have to be good at shooting large objects moving much quicker than expected.

Keep us posted on what Beretta does for you, I have a nano also but have not put that many rounds through it yet.
