Dunno how many times many here (myself included) have warned about this since all the silliness started. We saw this before in 2008, just not quite as severe as this time.

Amazing that folks react the way they do. Then again, if more would have paid attention in the first place they wouldn't have "felt" they had to "react" by panic buying.

It'd be unbelievable if it wasn't so funny.

Laugh all you want. My new $630 AR works just as good as my $800 one I purchased last year.

I was in the Ft Worth Cabela's yesterday and that picture looks like their AR rack. They must have 50 of them racked up by their used guns.

This time was more of a Constitutional crisis than just a small gun scare.

Having extra rifles in the hands of citizens is not a bad thing. It would have been much better if every gun purchase came with a NRA membership and a year membership at a local gun range. Nothing worse than buying something and not learning how to properly use and enjoy it.

Cash for Clunkers could have been much better if it had been Guns and Ammo for Clunkers.

Having enough ammo to shoot is another matter.

I think the way folks reacted this time was due to who sits in the oval office and the people that he has under him. These people cannot wait to ban and confiscate ALL guns and if they had half a chance they would do just that.

This fight is not over and will never be over and I would not take anything for granite, don't think for a minute they are not coming back for our Second Amendment Rights. Next time they may be more successful, they will never give up.

You might want a pop-up blocker, none came up on my computer.

Meh I read it, I'm so used to pop-ups they don't even phase me anymore. I don't regret buying my guns, even if I'm not currently using them. I'd rather have them and not need them, then need them and not have them.

Walmart had the Colts in stock for around 900 and the only ammo I couldn't find was 22's. The shelves were not full but they had some of everything.

Just sold my Rock River AR that I've had for a couple years. It was a good gun and I got a fair price for it, but I could have gotten at least 50% more 8 months ago.

There are a plethora of $599 ARs now. Before Sandy Hook, those type of guns were much less common. Seems like a bunch of manufacturers rushed to get the cheapest version of an AR available as quickly as they could.
