Traded for a Lanber O/U 12ga last year, pheasant and quail hunted with it last March, changeable chokes, it one gun I'm not getting rid of. It's a better shot than I am.

my buddy has a pigeon grade Winchester 101 in 20 gauge.

when we go hunting I make him start drinking around 10 am.

by 4 pm he is passed out and I borrow his shotgun and finish out the rest of my limit.

that is a sweet shooting gun.


for dove I also like a 1100 in 20 gauge.

My favorite for dove is a Remmy 1187 Premier 20ga
But when I'm feeling nostalgic I'll carry my Belgium A5 16
But if its windy Ill take either a Browning Citori 12 or Browning Silver Hunter 12
This year I'm going to carry a Beretta 687 28ga a few times

12 Ga. Beretta AL 2 in 2 3/4 chamber. Light and quick on the swing. Great for Dove, Quail, Pheasant...... I think I killed a few rabbits with it too. Got a few nicks and scratches but the game does not seem to mind.

Either a Winchester 101 in 12 gauge for reloads or my Ithaca 37 in 16 gauge if they are really flying.

I just got the plain ol rem 870 pump. Did use my Weatherby model 80 semi auto but it would only eject the hi brass shells. Got to be way to expensive for those dove. Now it's my duck and goose gun only

Remington 11-48 28 Guage with a skeet barrel

I used my Mossberg 12 ga model 887 for years until I bought my Remington 1187 12 ga. I can sneak up an scare them with it or reach way out and put them down. It has no chokes as you must switch the barrels out, I have the modified on it right now seeming to get-er-dun!

I think that I'll use a 20ga O/U when I hunt public lands instead of a SA. The reason is 2 chokes. I think I will go IC and Full. I don't seem to get many shots at the few doves I see out there (east of Dallas) so this combo might help.

Benelli super nova 12g. I have others but this is the one I always take. It has never failed me, not once.

I have to say my Charles Daly Semi Auto 12ga has been flawless in the field. I shoot trap and birds with it. I borrowed this shotgun from a friend of mine for many years, probably put over 1,000 rounds through it. He recently made a trade with me which included that Charles Daly. I am extremely pleased and looking for another one for my son-in-law.

Have the Montifeltro Silver in 12 and 20. The 20 is an awesone dove gun. I typically shoot a Citori feather lite with the 28g barrel set. I swap to the 20g barrel when it's blowing hard or my aim sucks.

Remington Sportsman 58, or Remington 11-87, depending on what how I'm setting up that day (the 58 is a fixed barrel choke, modified)....the 58 points better than the 11-87, for me...I wish I could find a barrel without the vent rib, like the old ones with just a bead.

The Sportsman 58 will start to get sluggish at about 50 rnds too....where the 11-87 will burn up a case of shells before I have to clean it.

Either way, I love my remingtons...nothing wrong with a 1100 either, I just happen to have the other 2...all 12ga because it's cheap and easy!
