Never used it. Ive taken some down with steele and brass loads 2 to 4 shot. But all shots were under 30 yards. Have used 000 buckshot but better results with the others

I also take the Benelli with me. I just use some 00 buck which is the best thing I have outside of birdshot. Never shot a coyote with it but tore up a skunk at 40 yards with it one night.

As far as coyote loads are concerned, the measuring stick is lead 4Buck. That's not to say it is the best though, just what everything is compared to. My absolute favorite is Hevi-Shot Dead Coyote T shot, nothing breaks bones like the DC loads in my experience. Forget about all the claims of the 100yd magic pellet shots though, 50 yards is a looong damn shot for a shotgun.

The Dead Coyote Hevi Shot is great....and expensive. It will reach out a lot farther with the right choke.
The traditional loads are #4 Buck and Copper Plated BB's.

Yeppers, #4 buck for me unless I am in Arkansas and then I use a 3" BBB load. I can't afford the dead coyote load!

I have 3" 00 to 4buck 2-3/4. They all seem to put lead down pretty well with a Full or IM choke. My gun patterns buck better than I would have thought, and I'll shoot out to 60 yards without hesitating.
Never tried any of those fancy loads on song dogs. Always used WWB in a 44 rifle and a 12 gauge with the buck.
