We camped two nights in our travel trailer at South Llano River State Park near Junction. The kids had a great time swimming in the river. It is full of wildlife - turkey and deer. The facilities are nice and most campsites were heavily wooded. We'll definitely make this our "overnight stop" on trips heading west on I-10.

They have one of the largest turkey roosts in the state. In the fall, that joint is covered up in turkeys.
