This year, my new Benelli M-2, 21" barrel with extended magazine tube. 3 gun comp. gun. I shot a few rounds of skeet with it yesterday at Elm Fork, did alright, such a shorty, I really need to focus on keeping the swing going.
Always thought about a .28 or .410, but sure enough I bring one they will be flying high and "just" out of range.
And after paying $100 a day, I need to get my limits.

In the past I've used my Beretta al391 Urika, but this year I'm going to try out the Weatherby Orion I recently inherited. I guess the Beretta will stay squeaky clean a few months longer.

410 SxS is my go to dove swatter. Hopefully I'll be getting a new CZ soon so it'll take front row for dove this year. Rest assured that little 410 will get some play time though.

My first shotgun, rem 870 12 ga. Never had the want to have a pretty shotgun, they are too much like work guns for me to ever own a nice one. Mines been dropped in a mud puddle in a plow field, laid in the bottom of a jon boat covered in water hunted in the rain sleet and whatever else you can imagine and drug through the nastiest brush from the sabine river to hebronvile. Gets the job done.
It's hell eatin em live

Used a 20 gauge 1100 for several years and sometimes still use it. Bought a Benelli Vinci 2 years ago, I really love that gun. Thinking about getting one of those Berretta A400 XPLOR in a 20 gauge this year. They look and feel amazing. Super light

I started with an 870 20 gauge back when there were all steel. I bought my daughter the 870 youth w/ laminated wood stock and it is really a piece of chit. CHEAP but it gets the job done. Just not impressed with anything Remington anymore, no QC
Wait, sorry, this isn't a bash Remington thread.. I guess I'm a shotgun snob.

Stoeger 2000 12 gauge or Mossberg 500 12 gauge or Mossberg 500 20 gauge that's all I have to choose from. Nothing wrong with those M2000's No sir I love mine only thing is it won't run remington waterfowl loads, but federal or winchester low brass shells run all day long.

I have used my Tristar youth, which broke. On teal though I've used YILDIZ A-71, Benelli Super Vinci, YILDIZ 20ga o/u, Beretta 390(not sure which exact one)

Beretta A400 is amazing can not say enough good about it. Not one thing can I say bad about it. Worth the money cause I will keep it forever and give to my little dove buster one day. On the other hand the A300 outlander is just as reliable as the older 391 Series so you know they will last. And won't break your wallet so boom stick with the beretta's I promise you will be happy.

Either my old Browning A5 or 1100, both in 20guage. Later in the season I usually switch to my 12g A5. I hunt a mature pecan orchard and we start getting more whitewings than mourners in early October and the fly high and fast up through the tree-tops. It's more like duck hunting than dove.
