We use the old version of the Moultrie. We have had they for 3+ years. Those varmint protectors are a joke. We put the varmint cages around ours.

Check out Monarch Hunting Products out of Arlington Monarch Hunting Products
We've got nine of their 12 volt solar panel units and they've been going strong for over 10 years, having to replace batteries every two to three. Ask for Rusty

Ask for Rusty we also used to use monarch back when the owner Dick used to sell them out of his back yard.... We unfortunately didn't get the kind of durability tht you have experienced.... I think we bought 4 and had to replace a motor on one and timer on the other... I think they lasted 3-5 years

Monarch or HCR we have hcrs that are over 10 years old and ran daily. Also we had some fossil hcr timers that were broke. Sent them back sent HCR a check for 24 dollars. They sent us back our 9 timers ready to go!

Monarch has grown and improved all their products since they began. We also used to buy from Dick and his son and daughter. What I like most about them is you can be out in the field and experience a problem, and if it's during business hours, you can call them and speak to a real live English speaking person to help you. We don't need to do that now after having their products for so long, but for new customers it's definitely a plus.

On Time Elite. A lot of programmable variables and it will run all year (12 months) on ten AA batteries.
