Well, the 2005 deer gun season is over for me. But it has been a successful season. Below is the picture of my buck, which I took on opening day!! Sorry it took so long to get this pic posted.

I will be having major surgery on the 13th, so I am taking the time before to just relax, get things in order and prepare for a long recovery.

I want to send a huge thanks to Randall (CHC), Lora (Campcook), John (duckduckgoose) and John (the landowner) for all the assistance in getting out into the field. I wouldn't have had such a great season without their help.

Lora(campcook) and I want to express our gratitude to all of you for your comments to CoyoteJames. He really is a special person to us, and to everyone that knows him.

I am not sure which deer I was more proud of, his first ever, on opening weekend, or Lora's first buck last year.

I hope we can get Baldy Bob thru this and get him out to the ranch so he can shoot a Javelina this next March.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes on the surgery. I need as many good thoughts from everyone that I can get. I will get Randall and Lora to keep everyone updated on my progress.
