Bowjax works the best IMO. Real curious to see how these sell and hold up. Only one company has made a go of a carbon riser, others have tried.

I would like to say I picked one up at pro shop but it was more like fondling it! Loved the weight but going to watch them and see how they behave and maybe get one next year when someone upgrades from the Knight!

Would you ever shoot at a deer at 70 yards? I can't fathom taking that shot

Ohhhhh! Lol. There was a guy at all star last time I was there saying he and his buddy set their bows up for 2-300 yards+ for betting purposes. Sounds fun but Dan hats alot of dough! Maybe it was just 1-200. Either way

If I would shoot a fox at 35 yds I would certainly shoot a deer at 70 yds.

it is the illusion of knowledge.--Stephen Hawking

Dang, 70 yard shot on a deer? My fil told me he is comfortable taking a shot out to 60 and that seemed a bit much. I'm a newb and am staying in my comfort zone so I'm set to shoot 35 yards max. It seems like people are trying to take longer and longer shots on animals with a bow, now this may be just me but, I thought one of the ideas behind bow hunting was to get as close as you could and take a shot at an animal. If people start taking long range shot why should there even be a special bow only season?

Sorry for the mini rant. Really nice bow btw. Will be interesting to read how things go with it.

Shooting longer shots don't take anything away from why we bow hunt it just adds to the thrill of making a great kill shot. We hunt with bows because its a challenge we all would love to always have a twenty yard shot. But if you seen the buck of a life time would u not take a shot. I will mabe you stick em maybe u miss but u tried.
