I recently purchased a new Beretta Neos .22 from Academy and had an issue with it. The trigger was not resetting like it should and was not firing any subsequent rounds unless you jiggled the trigger to reset. As you can imagine this was a pretty big safety concern. I talked with the guys at Academy and they handled the shipping of the gun back to the manufacturer for repair. The process was seamless and professional. Within 3 weeks I had my gun back in my hands and it was functioning perfectly. Kudos to both Beretta and Academy for a great experience even with an issue along the way.

Yes, their policy is now all gun sales final with the manufacturer being responsible for any defects being found after purchase. But I have to think the policy is also driven by those who buy a firearm with the intention of flipping it, and then return it after being unable to sell it.

Glad it worked out for you.

Or that people may swap parts or alter and then return it saying they just don't need the weapon. Lot of liability!
