Been looking at side by sides. Has anyone had any experience with the Massimo 500 that Tractor Supply sells? From looking on the utv websites the purist bash everything except those sold by their respective brand so an honest review is hard to find. If anyone has rode, owns, or knows anything about these let me know your thoughts. I believe the Massimo is a HiSun product which is the same machine as the Bennche, Coleman, and numerous others. They are built in Carrollton, and by talking to them replacement parts and aftermarket parts are readily available there. Thanks in advance.

For the money I would spend just a little more and get a name brand. Those off brands are just as expensive as the name brands but where are you going to have them fixed when they break?

Step dad has one. They are junk. No power. Save your cash and get a ranger or similar.

My uncle has one and wished he hadn't bought it.I borrowed it and took it to Colorado and had a good time trail riding with it.The front wheel started to rub on the fender, come to find out the a-frame bolt was missing. No big deal bought one in town and carried on.It would be fine for a "Ranchette" hauling kiddos and hay.It doesn't turn easy and takes a big radius to get it turned around. The lever that releases the bed is difficult to engage. It doesn't have much power and it can pop out of gear if not engaged fully. The seats are very thin material(tearing already). Let me add one more issue, its very loud while driving and has a lot of vibration and flapping plastic roof. I would put it on the don't buy list. This is my personal experience take it for what its worth.

Thanks for your review. You may have just saved somebody a headache.

I have heard similar stories on the Chinese UTVs. Most people say they wish they would have spent a little more and bought a name brand.
