Me and a buddy of mine decided to go hunting for hog so we booked a weekend hunt which included two morning hunts and two evening hunts and two nights in a cabin. My buddy was hunting with a 300 blackout and I was using m bear outbreak compound bow. So we where brought to two different locations. the first morning we set out right before dawn. The guide dropped him off first and the proceeded to take me to a tree stand. I climbed up the tree where I sat for 3 hours I did not see a single pig during the session however I did see 3 deer close enough to spit on.

Still waiting for the guide I hear a rifle shot so I figure my buddy hit one. Well it turns out he had a shot at 200 yard but missed. If he would have waited for the p8gs to get to the feeder he would of had a better chance. The next two outings neither of us seen any hogs. On the last evening hunt it started getting dark and it was raining, I was freezing my [censored] off. It was so dark I could hardly see my optics through the peep. All of a sudden I hear what sounded like a freight train coming through. Fourteen pig came running down the path up to the feeder. In one smooth motion I drew back an put an arrow through this nice sow.

She squealed snapped the arrow and took off through the woods the other hogs jut popped there heads up as if to say what just happened? I started to draw down on another but decided to let them go fearing I would have wounded pigs everywhere. It took our tracker 30 minutes to find the blood trail but once he did he was like a tick in a hound. We found her 100 yards from where I hit her.

I'm a terrible shot but I follow up with a grenade!
