I have been looking for a Marlin X7 for my 13 yr old daughter chambered in 25.06 for awhile. I rolled into the pawn shop and they had two X guns both BNIB. Sure enough one was a 25.06. $299.99!! Scooped it up real quick. That's cheaper than anywhere online. Couldn't believe it.
I don't smoke ,so I can't say but I highly doubt it. I do know a loud fart works! I think they like the smell plus I guess they think it's a buck grunt.

Great deal! I never find good deals at pawn shop they are usually priced over new pricing. Only think I ever found at a pawn shop was a nice bow I use for gator hunting

I had a used one in 30-06 that I picked up at a pawn shop. Shot a .75" group at 100. I don't know why, but it seemed to kick much less than other 30-06's and 308's I've shot.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

Congrat's. Look forward to a range report. I feel like I stole this gun for $300. Took it to the range today and had bullets touching each other at 100 yards. Even with the barrel smoking hot it had great groups. My brother was with me and he has a rem 700 bdl 25.06 and said the marlin was more accurate than his. Can't wait for my daughter to lay a critter down with it!

 I love cruising the Pawn Shops at lunch. Pawn Shops are like a box of chocolates.... You never know what you are gonna get.

Awesome. You must've got it at Wild Bill's. I just picked up a like new Marlin 60 complete with Bushnell scope for $159.99 from the one on Butternut.

I love pawn shops!! Bought a Remington 1100 410 for $300 bucks. All it needed was a new extractor. Bought an 1100 LT-20 magnum for $350 and it was a safe queen! I go into about any one that I happen by but I have a couple I am a regular at and since I have bought from them in the past they give me good deals.

Got it at the one on Sth 1st

I have the same rifle and both my 13 year old and my 9 year old daughters love shooting it. I've used it also and I was surprised how well it shot out of the box, I put a cheap Bushnell 3x9 scope on it until I can catch the yearly closeouts and all 3 of us had groups touching at 100 yards
