I like the look of the knife and I think I may want one myself. I'm just worried about it closing on me when in use. Let me know how it handles for you

There's a pin that locks the blade open.

I really like the ball cap, how do I get one?

Thanks for posting.

I have Velcro backed patches designed for tactical caps (below) that have Velcro attached to the front of the cap OR you can cut the Velcro off the patch and sew the patch on any cap.

Some information on friction folders:

Friction Folders are non locking knives. They do not have a locking mechanism nor do they have a detent to hold the blade in the closed position. What keeps them closed is the friction created between the washers and the handle material on the blade. The friction is strong and they will not open in your pocket. While it is strong, the action on the knives are still very smooth.

The blade is kept in the open position by keeping your thumb or finger on the tail of the knife. This prevents the blade from closing. Of course, if you are applying pressure, as you should with a friction folder, the blade will not fail as it presses against the stop pin during use.

The modern friction folder is arguably safer than a traditional slipjoint design. With a slipjoint and, the user puts all trust in the spring or a mechanical device to lock or keep the blade open, if the mechanical device fails, they will snap shut quickly, possibly causing injury. With the friction folder, you are constantly aware there is no lock and safe use is intuitive. Your brain and not a mechanical device is the safety.

Twice now I've had a folding knife close on my hand. The second time I dang near lost my trigger finger. Since then if its not a fixed blade or a lock blade I have retired all my folders. But yet this one has my interest
