I grew up hunting ducks on Caddo. Great times. Joined USN in '69 with my hunting buddies and haven't hunted ducks since.

I am a pretty good ways from the Caddo brother. I am towards the Diboll area hunting off the Neches river bottoms, but hey you are more than welcome. I am about 2 hours south North of Houston and 4 hours south of Dallas and about a hour southeast of Tyler.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service to our country. Thanks also to all the other veterans reading this and the folks that are kind enough to take a moment to offer thanks. I've hunted the Neches in East TX probably about an hour or so north of where farfarright hunts. On a migration day (northern front) the birds where we hunted would just flood in. It's the closest thing to flooded timber that we could find near us and when it was good it was a blast. If you are a veteran and want to make a fun hunt you should probably try to check into this

Thank you Drake Doctor. Its much appreciated from all veterans and service members. Just trying to help out as much as possible and passing on what someone else has done for me.

Without the sacrifices of many. We damn sure wouldn't be able to enjoy this great obsession of duck hunting, and we shall never forget.
