These are old pictures, but I am wondering how old each of them are.
East Texas.

Is that 8 point a shooter? and is that smaller one ar restricted?

Also the only pictures of bucks I have is at night. I guess this is expected for late season/post season bucks? Will this be an issue this coming season?

I am just starting to try and age deer, but will give you my estimate anyway. hard to judge the small one from that angle, but I'd guess 1.5, and 2.5 on the 8 point, not more than 3.5

I think that the eight is 3.5 and right at 15 to 16 inches for spread.

Its going to depend on food and water availability when season gets here but usually have a chance to pattern the deer in east tx during the first of the season before rut and acorns hit... oh your deer should be 4.5 by season

Both deer are young. The 8pt is legal. The other buck is not.
