Who's got one and what kind. I'm interested in getting one but there is not a lot of them out there except Henry's. I've never shot a Henry so any pro's and con's would be greatly appreciated. Or if you have one in a different brand would love to hear it. Pretty sure I DO want it in lever action.

The Henrys I've cycled and shot have proved they are the slickest lever action I've ever handled. I mean they are silky smooth to cycle! I want one!

I've got the Henry GB in .22 mag. Extremely accurate and the action on it, is like a knife thru butter.

Slickest lever action I have ever worked is a 9422M trapper that lives in my safe most of the time. I took it from the box to put on the shelf at a friends gun store, cycled it and told him this one ain't going on the shelf it is going home with me.

Guess I need to go put my hands on both. Thanks for the input.

They both are nice but IMHO the 9422 has no equal. I've had a couple of Marlin 39's which have the record for the longest constant production, but I don't like them.

The 9422M is the only lever 22mag I have handled. Read a lot about the Henry's.
I would not justify the purchase due to ammo costs. I have not shot over 100 mags in my Ruger SSS convertible. Always 22LR

Where you live the 22mag could stretch out to it's potential.

17HMR would be another choice.

I have a 17hmr and LOVE it. Just always wanted 22mag in lever action for some reason. I have also just happened to come into a lot of free 22mag ammo, so it is making my WANT that much worse.

I have never shot a Henry .22 mag but in .22 LR it is smooth as can be. I actually purchased one off a guy who said that it was 15 years old, had never been cleaned, and did not shoot. After a good cleaning and a $30 firing pin we were good to go. Tough little guns for sure.

I don't have a Henry, but have both the Marlin 39A and Winchester 9422 in 22LR. I think the Marlin is a bit more accurate, but the difference is small. The 9422 is much lighter and more fun to carry around in the woods. Both are pretty smooth, with (I think) the 9422 being just a bit smoother. But, one thing that I think matters is that if I just had one shot and had to make it, I'd take the shot with the Marlin.

My 9422m is my favorite rifle, however it's had less than 100 rounds shot through it becuase it is in MINT condition. The action, the looks and the feel of it is what does it for me. I've never handled another lever 22, but I doubt it could feel as good as my little Winchester. I'd love to have a 9422 to add to my collection.
