For ducks and geese? I was up there last December and the cranes were every where. 15 miles east of Hart there were more cranes than you could imagine.

Didn't see many ducks or geese, but it was kinda dry there last year so the playas were empty.

Hart has great pheasant hunting, I don't know about ducks/geese.

If the playa lakes have water, the duck/geese hunting can be good. I'm from Friona, 45 miles west of Hart. Friona has had lots of rain in the recent couple of months. Not sure of the hunting permission now a days, but there was a time when farmers didn't care if you duck hunted - ask away, you may be suprised.

Serious answer...

Some of the best duck and goose hunts I have ever had have been close to there...

Same with Pheasant hunts...
