Try it with some cheese franks wrapped in bacon. I like mine with mayo and pico de gallo in a Hawaiian bun.

I know MAYO!! It is the stuff with the pico de gallo.

My brother introduced me to bacon with a hot dog. Put the dog on a bun, add bacon, douse with BBQ sauce & devour.

Bought one from a guy selling them outside an HEB. That was an awesome dog.

Mexican style is hog dog wrapped in bacon cooked on a flat top or pan...even a grill will work. Steamed bun, whole pinto beans, nacho cheese, chopped raw onion, mayo, ketchup, relish, green salsa, pickled jalapeño and lots and lots of napkins.

I made these yesterday with all beef Ball Park franks and wrapped it with regular sliced maple applewood bacon. They were moist, but I really didn't taste the bacon. Should I have used thick sliced bacon? I cooked them with mesquite wood through my smoke box.

Many years ago I made some hot dogs from a bbq book. Split a hot dog, slip some cheese in it, mold hamburger around it THEN wrap in bacon and grill. Need a big brat bun to hold that sucker.

We had those over the 4th, the only difference was they were rolled in brown sugar prior to cooking. Gave me the schlitz for days ~

We kicked the health level up a notch. Deep fried bacon-wrapped hotdogs! We saw it on TV and had to try it at least once.
