I know most of yall are probably counting down the days as I am but if you aren't BOW SEASON OPENS IN 74 DAYS! September 28th will be here soon. My question for the THF is: What are you doing now in preparation for bow season?
I am shooting 10-15 arrows 5 days a week. I set out my feeders and cameras already. Im getting my bow tuned next week by the bow shop in canton. About to start spending money on more camo and other random items in prep for opening day. Its almost here...

Started shooting yesterday after a few months of not doing anything. I'll be buying a rinehart target soon that will hold up to broadheads better than my crappy black hole target. I think I have some fletching contact occurring on my fall away rest, but will know for sure when the rain lets up. Bought some baby powder today to put on my arrows to see whether they are making contact or not. I'm also considering buying some heavier spined arrows to see if they will hold a tighter group at 40 yards.

Seriously, I watch the Outdoor Channel every night. Holy cow, I want to shoot one of those big Iowa bucks one day.

They weren't raiding a girl scout troop looking for overdue library books.

I'm doing a ton of squat thrusts.

Not going to bow hunt, but really want my backside to look good in game cam pics this year.

I shot 250 arrows a week the first six months of this year, going to Kansas lease on Sunday and fill feeders, check cameras and set another stand. Will pick up the bow again after another week off and practice quality shots up to fifty, and not near as much volume. I run twenty miles a week to help with the endurance of long stand sits and the grind of a long hunting season

I'm to busy cleaning my shotgun to worry about bow season just yet

Already been to Kansas to fill feeders and get them going. Need to go back once more to hang a couple of new stands and get the cams started. Mid Sept can't get here soon enough.
