Looking for year round lease for 2 spots. Me and my dad or if we can hunt together then just one spot. Dad doesn't care to shoot but wants to be able to come out with me. Willing to get a larger group together if needed.

Looking to spend around $2000, and don't want to be overcrowded with hunters. Prefer central texas region but will consider NW Texas.

I've got about 5 stands, 20 corn feeders, and 8 protein feeders waiting to go somewhere.

If you say you are a managed mld ranch, I would like to see your results and know you are actually managing unlike my last mld lease. They never could show us results or info about the herd. Saw only 8 deer all year on 800 acres but gave us 30 tags. I enjoy working on the lease improving the place and feed protein year round. I would like the landowner to also want to improve the herd. Last mld lease overgrazed the ranch and didnt control any of their cedar. They just collected their money and said the place was level 3 mld. I would like a lease I can get to know the landowner so he knows how good of hunters we are and how we are willing to take care of the place. Willing to help build and grow the herd.

Prefer not to lease from land agent like the last lease as they just cared about the money and not the hunting. But I may be willing, just leary now.

We have six hunters in 1200 acres. Check out the photo gallery and let me know what you think?

Hey Mathp, I'm envious of your turkey. On my place, they show up occasionally, but then they're gone. One day I'll have to figure out how to hold them longer.

Anyway, you have a nice setup with some nice animals.

We don't see them every time but fairly often. My son watched a coyote chasing a group of turkeys one at a time, and they would calmly fly a small distance, while the others would stay calm and wait until the coyote got close. He was entertained but ultimately said "not my turkeys" and shot the coyote!
