Does the prices of ATV's go down after the hunting season? I am fixing to buy one and is there a better time of the year to purchase one?

Thanks, The weak call it Obsession, The strong call it Dedication...EvotekBows

No. The prices do not go down after hunting season. ATV's are alot like cars. The best time to buy an ATV is actually before and during hunting season because it's usually late in the year when the new models come out. The new 2006 models started hitting the floors in September, October & November, and the 2005 models will usually go down a little in price.

Not sure about new ones but used excellent one are extremely cheaper. Allot of big money guys buy them wiht the intent of using them to hunt and fiqure out it aint all fun you actually have to work at it. SO they decide hunting is not for them. Let's just say last year I bought a 02 recon with 10 hours on it, muddy as hell with a busted headlight for 2600 bucks. But you have to look around! I looked for about 6 months before finding this one.

This is the right time to buy a 2005 ATV if you're buying new. After hunting season though...there will be more used ATVs for sale cheap than usual for the reasons mentioned above.

That's how I got my 2004 Camo Grizzly. It had 25 hours on it (104 miles). The guy used it 1 season (rode 3 times) and decided to buy a Jeep Rubicon to use at his hunting ranch. Nice guy, and I got a GREAT deal on this Grizzly.

Also - if you really want to buy new go check out www.lakehillmotors.com in Mississippi. They have the best cash...OTD prices I've ever seen and they are posted on the internet. They sell Yamahas and Hondas.

what kind are you looking for? I have a 2004 polaris ranger 4x4 and only have 14 hours on it. I want a boat and wife says I have to get rid of some toys.

I also have a 1998 yamaha kodiak 4x4 that is in good shape with a warn winch for 2400.00. It runs good and has double rifle rest on it. I live in Houma La, but I go out to my camp in Uvalde Tx and could drop it off to someone somewhere along I-10. Rene'

Your best bet is to e-mail him, he's not that active on the forum.

How much for the polaris ranger? I am looking for a side by side.

Paid $11K IN 2004. I thought I was going to buy some acreage, but got a lake house instead. Never been mudding. The 14 hours have mainly been driving the kids in pastures. I am asking $8000 negotiable...
