Try to land on them. I don't know how effective the clip on ones are, but the Mojos are the beesknees

For 5 bucks they couldn't hurt, might be able to put them on a gravel road or something to emulate graveling birds.

grabbed a mojo on sale after seeing work last season. Not sure about the clip ons but depending on where you're hunting it wouldn't hurt to have a couple for a gravel road or fence

Clip on ones work awesome on barbed wire fences along with a mojo.

What is your hunting setup? Sunflowers/ag, tank, or just pasture?

I use two mojos at different heights and six or more full body dove on pivot stakes. Dove will land in my dekes.

Both mojo's and clip-ons are very effective on the dove. I actually have 3 or 4 clip-on doves that stay on the barbed wire fence behind my house all year. Every morning and evening their are several doves sitting their along side the decoys. They don't seem to know a difference.

Clip on 's are good they can go on fences or branches. Mojo's are great cause the provide movement that catches the eye as they fly over. And soar no more makes great ground decoys that look like the dove are feeding and grazing if you have these three where you are it might cost u a little more but you can use them year after year and I promise you will have a very successful season not just day. And you will be hooked for LIFE!!!

Just study their flight pattern the morning before the opener.
If the wind is the same, they will use the same flight pattern the next morning at exact the same time. No mojos needed in the morning, too dark for it.
Mojos are good after 8 am or so, and very good in the afternoon. I use clippers in the afternoon.

Yes in my part, those decoys are very helpful. I guess you have an idea on where to use these clip dove decoys but to give you an idea more on which area is the best place to use these decoys.. I think this post may help you – Dove Hunting for Beginners. Discuss about best place the dove decoys and store list you go into if looking for one and other hunting tips.

^^^^^this is what I do^^^^^^

Get old wire hangers, paint them flat black, bend them so they stand up (pm me for pics) take some cardboard and place them on the hook park.the cardboard adds thickness to the hook so the clip can b positioned better.
