A good friend of mine made me this one of a kind fan mount for my first big tom's fan.

He sent it home with me tonight and it's already on my wall.

Thanks everyone. He's a really talented craftsman.

BBD84, There are small holes in the wood at each end of the bone. I used a piece elastic thread to go through the bone, through the wood and tied them in the back.

That looks great! I've got the fan, wings and all from my tom in the freezer still. I need to quit messin around and get to work on it.

I've seen some great looking mounts with wings. I may have to try one.

Most of my bird is still in the freezer too. Just waitin' for Thanksgiving! grill

Great idea and looks even better. I need a fan mount now, just never had one done.

Here's the close up you asked for SnakeWrangler. I was looking for some black wire when I ran across this elastic string, turned out it worked great.

Looks Great! Like the wood work!
I had a 45 cal pistol like that till my house was robbed in Dallas. Was a good gun after I filed the brass front site down!
