I came across this company based in Euless and I'm interested in their box blinds. I've been searching through this forum but I couldn't find anything on them. Does anybody here have any experience with them? www.directoutdoorproducts.com

Their box blinds look a lot like the Monarch products. Might want to compare prices and see if you can buy Texan rather than Chinese. My .02

Spoke before I read everything... Saw the mfg facility was in China though.

Have never heard anything about Direct Outdoor before now.

But the design and options do appear similar to Monarch. I didn't compare the prices myself.

Thanks for the feedback. I went and looked at them and also looked at the Monarch stands. I wasn't familiar with Monarch when I first asked this question but they are very similar. I would be inclined to go with Monarch.

Had a friend who bought a 300lb broadcast feeder that "looks" good at a distance. But when you looked closely, the legs of the feeder are in two pieces rather than one solid piece of heavy stock pipe. The price seemed good but after seeing the quality, it appears the Japs have no idea what a good quality ANYTHING would look like. I wouldn't spend the money on something that will require your own improvements later. Spend the money, buy something that's gonna last.

remember chineese are not concerned about quality only quantity of output. thats why they are cheaper.

I actually bought a feeder & box blind a couple months ago, they only sell a 500lb. feeder, I was very impressed. The box blind impressed me the most, insulated, carpeted and less $$ compared w/ monarch. I had no quality issues, and was impressed w/ the powder coat finish.

having grown up in a machine shop and now own one myself it is quality that i look at when furnishing my ranch with equipment. when i was at the texas trophy hunter show in ft. worth i purchased two 12 foot stands from DOP and they were easy to set up and from the blood on the ground i would say very effective. thicker steel in the frame and better seat cushion for long hours on stand determined my purchased. accolades for DOP for making it easier for the average joe to afford quality equipment.

I picked up a tripod stand from them yesterday. Everything in stock is currently on sale. The tripod is 10' to the platform and only cost $175 including a tie down kit.
