Had assembled a 300 win mag last year, sold it and regretted it. Well here is my current project. Savage 110 long action 300 win mag, ER Shaw barrel, bedded action and floated barrel, trigger job-breaks at 2.5 pounds, Boyds Thumbhole Feather weight gun stock, currently Leopold base and rings and Nikon Prostaff 3 x 9 x 50 BDC scope. Going to do some range time to see where I go after that with another scope. This will probably just be a toy to take to the range but will not rule out hunting with it in the future if I am ever able to go on a larger game hunt.
