I did not know that s&w recommends you do not shoot all lead bullets in these pistols. I have but guess I was lucky.

I know that you are not supposed to shoot less than 120 or 125 grain rounds out of these guns but had not heard about leading issues. Whatever round you normally shoot make sure you check for unseating issues. I had one of these airlites and really liked carrying it. Hand issues got in the way though.

yes it is bullet pull that is the problem. I put a pretty good crimp in my wad cutter defensive loads, so I may continue to shoot them. I use a pretty stiff load of bulls eye but even still don't get the recoil near the 357 mag.

I tried some Remington 158 gr SWC lead HP in an airweight. Bullet had what I thought was a fairly heavy crimp. After about three shots the two remaining rounds had the bullets worked forward almost locking up the cylinder. Practice load is a 148 WC. There has been no issue with these light target loads.

yes Sir, 4 and 5 is what you have to look out for
