Can anybody give me some feedback on this place? Deer population, buck size, etc. It's in Salado and I'm hunting there for the first time this year. Just curious if anyone here has hunted there.

Is it a high fenced place? The reason I ask is because there are LOTS of native Deer right there in Salado. Some Dandies too.

Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it.

No, it's not high fence. I've seen some good deer around Salado, just wandering about this particular ranch.

Good deer. Have 3 family ranches within 10 miles of there. No monsters but nice deer and plenty of pork

There is a subdivision on the same highway that's closer to Salado. I've seen some 140 class deer in there. But on the road from Florence to Salado I have seen a few that make you go wow.

Thanks C3 guide. This will be my first paid hunt and I'm really looking forward to it. It's good to know I will have a chance of at least seeing a good one.
