Specifically, for a 10/22.
Small game hunting and a little target shooting will be the primary uses.
Looking at the Vortex 2 X 7 X 32 Crossfire as a possibility.
Thoughts?

Aimpoint pro.

I recommend not using a scope for a fast swinging 22. Your losing capability at the short range. Where the 22lr shines.

This is one of my old rifles. Shes a heavy modded 10/22. She's sporting a comp4. This rifle was a cottontails, living nightmare on planet earth. She drew the blood of over 20+ cottontails, grey fox, english sparrow, and many other critters. To include lighten bugs, yellow jackets, dirt dobbers, and beer bottles.

If your heart is set on a scope. Kewl. But before you mount a scope. Try a red dot......

Personally I ditched the low power scope on my .22, and picked up a reddot and have not regretted it at all. Much easier to point and shoot then a scope, and much faster target acquisition. Just my .02

I would just put a Fixed 4x Leupold on it and never worry about anything.
