Want to buy a quieted .300 B/O or .308 AR for deer/hog. Where's the best place to buy with the least amount of hassle? On-line or in person near Dallas?

If it's your first NFA item then find a local dealer with a good reputation to walk through it. It's a little bit of simple paperwork and then a nice long wait to get the item. Prepare yourself for a 6 to 8 month wait right now. Morgan at DallasShootingSupplies is on this forum and good to deal with.

Silenced America in Carrollton is good to go.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I used Morgan also, he is good to go aswell. I've also heard though make sure whoever you go with has the suppressor in stock otherwise you will be waiting even longer.

I found the process to be a piece of cake. Got a trust, walked into The Silencer Shop and picked out the one I wanted.
The killer part is the 8-10 month, if not longer, wait to actually get to play with it.

Matt They even can do it over the phone and email....I have one in jail with them right now they will get my future cans also. Very easy to work with and the best prices I have found.

I'd shoot one with mine but wouldn't get one just for deer . Just wondering Hearing protection?
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I'd shoot one with mine but wouldn't get one just for deer . Just wondering If you have multiple hunters on a place, it doesn't scatter them as bad, and (at least for people, don't know about deer) it's hard to tell where the shot came from.

I can see this being a reason , ill be using my suppressed .308 in a few weeks on a axis I hope . I'm sure it will help with the other hunters and the deer not scattering at another stand Was just wondering his reasoning
