I have seen worse, but won't post those pics. It doesn't hurt me as much cuz I am an eye surgeon And was the only microscopic eye surgeon in Iraq for 4.5 months in summer of 2008, so I saw All kinds of bad. It was winding down then, the guys in previous rotations saw a lot more and I am sure a lot worse. The fish hook to the eye is something that is relatively easy to fix...cut the hook ends, pull the hook out and glue the holes shut, at least ideally. If the lens was violated you may have to do a cataract extraction and sometimes you will have to suture the holes shut depending on the extent of them, but this is an easy thing to see... A rock shredding the eyeball from an IED explosion is much uglier to see (and fix)
