I use an anti-seize on my breech plug, however, after shooting about a dozen rounds the breech is real tough to remove for cleaning. Have you fellas had the same problem and what do you do to remedy this from happening again?

You're not alone, not at all. Here's what I do to help with the problem.
Wrap the breech plug with Teflon (not the T/C tape) tape, then coat the bp with shooter's choice grease. After shooting a hand full of shots, I loosen the bp then snug it back down. I never tighten it real tight, just snug it.
Your anti-seize will work just fine. When I shot my Omega the other day, I didn't have any problem getting the bp out. Have been using this procedure for years.
Doing this, along with cracking the breech plug after a few shots, then re-tightening it will make your life a bunch easier.
Hope this helps.
Paul
ps be sure to get the tape on the front of the bp too.

What Paul said.
I've been using teflon tape for the last three years with excellent results.
Also, I've noticed that Triple Seven is usually the culprit with stuck breech plugs. Even with tape or anti-seize, the plug seems to be tighter getting out when shooting T7 over Pyrodex or GOEX.

I'll give it a try. Thanks. I had a heck of a time trying to remove the breech plug today. Almost thought about using my air ratchet to drive it out. I had coated the threads with anti-seize compound and it still was tough to remove. The teflon tape and grease sounds like a good idea. Thanks again.

I had a lot of problems with my BP sticking with using just anti-seize. And YES it was much worse with Triple7 powder. Have very little trouble now just using anti-seize, but I did switch powders. I now use BlackHorn209. Costs more, but accuracy has improved, clean up is much easier, and the BP is no longer hard to get out. For me that is a WIN - WIN situation.

Hope this works out for you, fishhuntgolfgeek. I know how frustrating a stuck breech plug and be.
