My #1 is the Remington 1187 my grandfather gave me. It was the only auto loader he ever had. When I started duck hunting he decided I needed it. I can't bring myself to take it hunting, I just take it out of the safe a couple of times a year and look at it.

Just picked it up a couple weekends ago because my cousins were hard-up for money.
I am now the owner of my uncle's 1949 savage 99 in 300savage.
My uncle was the first person to take me deer hunting, and I still remember sitting in the blind looking at this rifle at the age of 7.

It was a hard decision, Dad's deer rifle or Dad's dove gun. I went with the shotgun. Belgium Browning A5 with numbers matching full and modified bbls. Dove hunting is much more social than deer hunting and I have more great memories of us doing that together. I have my great grandfather's Parker 10g and Colt Thunderer from when he was a RR detective, but I never knew him. I treasure them for sure, but my Dad's shotgun means the most to me. I know just about every scratch on the wood and where it came from.

My shotgun my grandma gave me that was my grandfathers who was in the military forever fought next to general MacArthur . It's a Winchester m-59 , one of the sweetest shotguns I've laid my hands on. Super super lightweight auto-loader, and the barrel is a steel sleeve wrapped in miles of Carbon fiber .It hadn't been used in years and years and is a old gun, and runs like a TOP! Goes with me every dove season ! It will kinda rock ur shoulder being so light but I don't mind

I have my maternal Grandpa's Stevens Field Grade Model 67 in 20ga. It have very little monetary value, but it is priceless to me. It would be the absolute last gun to ever leave my possession.

By far my savage model 99, in .250-3000 it belonged to my great grandfather, who gave it to my dad, who gave it to me. I would be a homeless man with a gun before i ever sold that rifle. its killed a number of deer and piggies. Just wish i could find ammo for it so i could target shoot and varmint hunt with it too.

Family history wise it would be my dad's Stevens Model 58. 20 ga bolt action. It was given to him by his dad when he was 16. I kind of took it over years ago. Their house got broken into years ago and he thought he lost it. I told him no I had his and that was his brothers that we had borrowed to go rabbit hunting that got stolen.

Like others have said my Dad's 1949 Browning A5 that I inherited and the Marlin model 60 .22 that he gave me as a child mean a lot to me!

Mine is a Browning a High Power Practical given to me by my aunt when my uncle passed away a few years ago. It just sits in the safe and gets to the range about twice a year. Second would be a CZ 82 given to me as a gift from a trusted friend. Man will that pistol shoot! My buddy bought two and gave me one and we go to the range and shoot golf balls at 25 yards pretty easily with them!

That's too difficult! Is it my Dads 12ga shotgun? The 30-30 that was given to me by my ex fil? My first real deer rifle? Or another...the thing is each holds different meanings which make each one a treasure.

Remington 760 BDL Deluxe in 308 my dad gave to me. It had an old Weaver 2-7 on it when he gave it to me. I took it off and put it away. Now a Buckmaster 4-14 sits on top.

Winchester Model 270 - .22 cal pump...it was given to me by uncle when I was 12. It has traveled a lotta miles and shot more rounds than I would care to guess.
The barrel and action are currently being completely redone by a very good smith. I am about 90% finished with the hand rubbed oil finish. Dad taught wood shop...I am working hard to try and the make the finish pass his inspection if he was still with us.
Work hard, play hard, love without reserve....you can rest in heaven when the journey is over.
