I see recipies scattered throughout the forum so let's put em here.

The only way I've cooked it....
Wraped in foil with a stick of REAL butter and light seasoned salt. Grilled on open fire.

Ive fried it before... it sucked. Not bad taste or flavor but incredibly tuff and not much of a meal for our efforts.

It's more of a snack than a meal for sure. With it being tough I'm sure it got over cooked. The way I cooked it, it was tender like catfish

The meat was OK.....but the snakeskin had a terrible odor. Do snakeskins generally smell bad??

Cut it into 1 1/2 inch pieces and soak it in a brine in the cooler or fridge for at least 2 hours. Rinse off.
Dip each piece into ice water, then toss in a bowl of Zatarains crispy southern fish fry.
Drop into 350 degree grease (peanut oil if you have it) until it floats. Sprinkle with salt as soon as you take it out of the fryer......make sure your grease is at least 3 inches deep.
Tastes and looks like catfish...watch out for all the small bones! We eat every one over 2 feet

I looked up a recipe on line, and baked it in a sauce like a hollandaise sauce. It way very tender and the best I have ever had. Wife can't get enough of it .

If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.
