Great job Chris. Season III will no doubt be the greatest to date. We are very excited to bring Joe Braman on board as Co-Host. Joe was born and raised on a historic Coastal Bend ranch and was hunting shortly after he learned how to walk.

I'm betting that was an O CHIT moment when that yote opened its eyes? !!!

Years ago, we were calling down in Mexico and my old son, Clint was on the hunt. It was hot, so we decided to make a call at a water trough and pella. Clint was 12 or 13 but had killed a lot of critters so he was watching down one of the senderos. A coyote started across the sendero and Clint hit him a little far back. After the call, he trotted down the hill to fetch the trophy and in a couple of minutes, I looked up and here he came with the coyote hanging over his shoulder. He had the coyote by the hindlegs and was not concerned about the "dead" coyote.
As he neared, I noticed that the swinging coyote had his head up and was looking around. I told him, "Clint, you might want to put that coyote down before he gets tired of you giving him a ride". He yelled "What???" as he unsaddled the 'yote.
The coyote was paralyzed in the hind legs but very much fine otherwise. O Chit!!!

I shot that coyote at about 150 yards and he dropped like a rock! When we went to pick up our furred up trophy sage( my decoy/ tracking dog) let us know pretty quick that he was still alive. He was paralyzed just how Gary explained, but with him being injured and the presence of my dog, he was very submissive! We filmed him for just a few short moments and I dispatched him. I don't pride myself on the high and far back shot I put on this coyote, but it made for a unique shot!
