any input here either smart as$or not is valued, i just recently bought a house out in the country and holy bugs galore of course I'm exaggerating a bit but, man is it just me or do i just have to live with the bugs, when i say bugs i mean scorpions ants more ants termites not the ones that eat drywall/invade the house so i'm told, and bugs i have never seen before, i've used a couple different poisons, but i'm beginning to think its just viagra for the little boogers cause it seems theres a lot more, now that i moved in, before i go buying anymore poisons is there any suggestions . THANKS......

Maybe they're welcome to see fresh meat but on the serious side check with a exterminator in your area.If you choose to rid yourself of them yourself then get rid of the smaller bugs in and around your house and your scorpions wont have a food source and will eventually leave.A few cats around your house will also eat them but you are in the country and that's where you will find most any type of bug.

Here is one that works very well. The one listed below is the one I used to use. This one seems to work just as well and is what I will use inside and around the outside of my new home when it is finished. It will be in the country. I have a friend who has been using it for several years in and around his home. He told me he can spray his covered back porch and it will kill all insects for weeks. http://demon-wp.com/One packet and a gallon sprayer will do a lot of area when spraying. This was one of the best product I had found. I think they do not make it anymore but the other two products listed should work well also. It was used by many pesticide companies. It would give you around 30 days outdoors when sprayed on surfaces/edges and a bit more indoors when used as directed on baseboards. It wss one of the only pesticides label for scorpions. All an insect had to do is walk across to kill them even after it is dry for days/weeks. They list 2 other similar products so they would be a start also. http://www.pestproducts.com/ficamw2.htmhttp://www.pestproducts.com/ficamplus.htm

The Demon WP is good stuff and still readily available around my parts (SE TX).
There are four water soluable packets in each bag/package of Demon WP. I use two of the packets at a time in a one gallon pump up sprayer. This dosage will last for about 6 months.

Demon and cypher are the same product but cypher is much cheaper and you can buy it by the pound for about $50. It leaves a powder residue on stuff you spray. It really works good on spiders but rain washes it off...I use Bifen and like it better than demon/cypher.

Get some yard birds and only use the chemicals on the house for spiders and such.
An awesome side effect of chickens is you get fresh eggs......plenty of target practice due to coons and possums trying to get them unless you have good dog

Plan a day! Cover all utensils and food (fruits & stuff left out) Turn off A/C, open all cabinet doors and turn out pilot lights. Set off several bug bombs in the house. Stay gone for about 4 hours with the house sealed up. If you have a crawl space or attic access put one there too. When you come back allow the house to air out. Then follow up around the foundations with spray & granules and work yourself away from the house.
(We had a problem at our old farm house and this is how we took care of it.....)
Good Luck!
