I just got my deer mount back and it looks great. My only concern is that the neck looks a lot smaller for the size he was. His neck is the same size, about 24 inches in circumference as my other mounts which were a lot smaller deer. Can anything be done to change this besides new cape?

No sir. Not after deer is dried and mounted. Are you measuring behind the ears? It is extremely hard to find a 24 inch neck whitetail this time of year. If you do find one to replace it, it will be a pretty penny.

Not measuring behind the ears, I was measuring right around the middle. Thanks for answering my question.

You are very welcome. I do not know why your deer would be smaller than when you harvested. But feel free to ask me any questions.
